JUST ANNOUNCED: Felice Is Coming to Town Center at Boca Raton

One of September's newest announcements is Felice, the Tuscan restaurant and wine-bar concept expanding to Town Center at Boca Raton.

The Boca Raton location will join Felice's existing Florida locations in West Palm Beach and Brickell.

Known for Tuscan-inspired cuisine, handmade pastas and an extensive wine program, Felice is expected to have approximately 150 seats across its dining room, bar and patio.

The restaurant's design will draw inspiration from Tuscany, adding another elevated dining option to the evolving Town Center experience.

As of early September, Felice is expected to open this fall or winter, although an exact opening date has not yet been announced.

For Boca Raton, the arrival is another example of nationally recognized restaurant operators continuing to choose the city for South Florida expansion.

Fletchers Is Coming to Downtown Boca Raton

Another concept Jennifer Susanne Sommers is watching closely is Fletchers, planned for 133 SE Mizner Boulevard.

Fletchers is expected to combine an upscale restaurant and lounge experience with a private members-club component.

The concept is planned as an approximately 120-seat restaurant, creating another destination in the rapidly evolving Downtown Boca Raton dining and nightlife scene.

Its arrival is especially interesting when viewed alongside the continued investment taking place around Mizner Park, Royal Palm Place and the surrounding downtown district.

For residents, this isn't simply about another restaurant.

It is another example of Downtown Boca Raton continuing to evolve into a more complete live, dine, shop and entertainment destination.

Black Star Bakery & Cafe Is Coming to Royal Palm Place

Royal Palm Place is also preparing to welcome Black Star Bakery & Cafe.

The New York-inspired bakery and cafe concept is expected to bring another casual dining and coffee option to the heart of Downtown Boca Raton.

The location is planned for 100 Plaza Real South at Royal Palm Place.

For residents who follow Boca's restaurant scene, concepts like Black Star are significant because they add something different from the city's growing collection of high-end dinner restaurants.

Coffee shops, bakeries and daytime gathering spots play an equally important role in creating a walkable downtown lifestyle.

Limani Is Bringing Greek Seafood to Town Center

Another highly anticipated addition to Town Center at Boca Raton is Limani.

The Greek and Mediterranean seafood concept is known for fresh fish, seafood, crudo and charcoal-grilled specialties.

Its arrival is part of a broader transformation occurring at Town Center, where the traditional luxury shopping experience is increasingly being complemented by destination dining.

The project has been anticipated for some time, so Jennifer Susanne Sommers recommends treating any opening date as tentative until the restaurant officially announces that it is welcoming guests.

Still, Limani remains one of the Boca Raton restaurant openings to watch this fall.

North Park Skate Park Moves Forward

Not everything new in Boca Raton involves restaurants.

One of September's biggest community developments is the proposed North Park Skate Park at the former Ocean Breeze/Boca Teeca golf-course property.

The project appeared before the Boca Raton Planning & Zoning Board on September 3, 2026, marking another step forward for the North Park redevelopment.

The planned skate park is approximately 42,000 square feet and would create a substantial new recreational amenity for Boca Raton residents.

For families in Central and East Boca Raton, the broader transformation of the former golf-course property is particularly worth watching.

North Park has the potential to become an important recreational asset for this part of the city.

Another New Boca Restaurant to Watch: Tulum Grill

A newer concept also surfaced near the end of August.

Tulum Mexican and American Cuisine is planned for 1580 NW 2nd Avenue in Boca Raton.

An opening date has not yet been announced, making this one firmly in the "coming soon" category.
