Boca Raton 2026–2027 Beach Permits: What Residents Need to Know
Living in Boca Raton means having some of South Florida’s most beautiful beaches right in your backyard—and residents should mark their calendars for an important upcoming date.
The City of Boca Raton’s 2026–2027 Annual Beach & Recreation Permits go on sale September 21, 2026, giving eligible residents convenient annual access to the city’s beach parks.
Annual Boca Raton Beach Permits
The resident annual beach permit is $90 for the 2026–2027 season. Annual permits can be purchased online or at City of Boca Raton Community Centers.
For Boca Raton residents who regularly visit the beach, an annual permit offers a convenient alternative to paying for parking each time you visit.
Boca Raton Beach Park Gates Are Going Cashless
There is another important change coming this fall.
Beginning October 1, 2026, City of Boca Raton beach park gatehouses will no longer accept cash for daily and weekend parking payments.
Visitors paying at the gate will be able to use:
-
Debit cards
-
Credit cards
-
Apple Pay
-
Google Pay
The change is worth remembering before heading out for a spontaneous beach day, particularly for visitors accustomed to paying cash at the gate.
