November begins with investment in Boca Raton’s education and recreation infrastructure, a marina project moving toward its next milestone, and a full calendar of local culture. Here are six developments and experiences to keep on your radar across the Palm Beaches. These are current updates and upcoming events checked for today’s edition, rather than six announcements made today.
1. Boca Raton: FAU reports $30 million for a planned health professions facility
Florida Atlantic University announced October 29 that it has secured $30 million in cumulative state funding for a proposed 150,000-square-foot Health Professions Clinical Training and Research Facility. The total includes $10 million secured in 2025 and $20 million in 2026.
The planned Boca Raton campus building would bring medicine, nursing and social work students together for education, clinical training and research. FAU estimates completion could come in early 2030, subject to funding and project development. This is a planning milestone, not an announcement that construction is complete.

2. Boca Raton: The Boca Raton targets late fall for its golf transformation
The Golf Club at The Boca Raton is targeting a late-fall 2026 reopening following a $25 million renovation led by architect Brian Silva. The destination’s October 22 tourism update describes an 18-hole course redesign, a new practice facility, 53 rebuilt bunkers and modern irrigation.
Two dining additions, Greg’s on the Green and Greg’s Grab & Go, are also part of the project. Confirm reopening and access arrangements directly with the resort before making plans; a seasonal target is not a guaranteed opening day.

3. Palm Beach Gardens: PORT 32 prepares for a December opening
An October 30 South Florida Business Journal report says PORT 32 has appointed leadership ahead of a scheduled December opening at its redeveloped Palm Beach County marina. The report describes 471 boat slips and more than 31,000 square feet of commercial space.
The city’s construction-project listing identifies the PGA Boulevard redevelopment as enclosed boat storage, a showroom, maintenance facilities, a ship store and marine offices. For boaters comparing waterfront neighborhoods, storage availability and service access are useful practical considerations. Confirm launch timing and leasing directly with the operator.

4. Downtown Boca: Night Market returns November 5
Boca Raton’s next Night Market is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sanborn Square, 72 N. Federal Highway. The city describes an evening of local makers, artists, snacks and treats, with free rides available through BocaConnect.
It is an easy opportunity to experience downtown on foot and combine a market visit with nearby dining. The next listed date after November is December 10. Check the city’s event page for changes before heading out.
5. Delray Beach: Art on the Square fills the November 7–8 weekend
Art on the Square returns to Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Avenue, on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Downtown Development Authority’s listing describes more than 60 juried artists, live music, food and live outdoor painting.
Admission to the art show and Cornell Art Museum is free; nearby garage parking is paid. The event offers a chance to explore Delray’s cultural center and the shops and restaurants around it.

6. Delray Beach: Two exhibitions offer a quieter cultural outing at Morikami
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens currently lists Mending Cracks in Time: Kintsugi Art of Naoko Fukumaru, running October 17, 2026–February 28, 2027, and Clifton Karhu: An American in Kyoto, running September 18, 2026–January 17, 2027.
The museum and gardens normally open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and close Mondays and major holidays. That means today, Monday, is a day to plan a later visit. Check admission and any operational notices on the museum’s website.

The local perspective
Universities, recreation, boating and cultural venues help define how a place feels day to day. These updates provide useful neighborhood context, but they do not by themselves establish home-value trends.
