Luxury sales, new housing approvals and a park opening to put on your calendar. This edition brings together six recent reports and upcoming plans from Parkland through the Palm Beaches, checked on November 6. These stories were not all announced today.

1. Palm Beach County: $30 million-plus sales match last year's total

Palm Beach County recorded 21 single-family home and condominium sales of $30 million or more through September 2026, matching its total for all of 2025, according to an October 16 release from MIAMI REALTORS® + RWorld.

That is a useful snapshot of the very top of the market. It is not a measure of every neighborhood or price range. If you are buying or selling, recent comparable sales, property condition and the specific location remain the better starting point for pricing decisions.

2. Boca Raton: BRiC's next chapter keeps its historic building

Related Ross is considering more retail, restaurants and community events at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, The Coastal Star reported November 4. The company is gathering input before making firm decisions. The report says the 1.7 million-square-foot Marcel Breuer-designed building will remain.

For residents near BRiC and the Park at Broken Sound, the details to watch are which public amenities move forward and when. No final redevelopment program or opening schedule was announced in the report.

3. Boca Raton: Two residential approvals span downtown and Broken Sound

The Coastal Star reports that the City Council approved the 12-story Mr. C Residences condominium at 14 SE Fourth Street on October 26. The following day, it approved Bertani, an eight-story, 60-unit apartment building with a parking garage on Broken Sound Parkway.

The two approvals put different parts of Boca's housing pipeline in focus. Approval is one milestone; it does not establish a construction completion date, availability or final pricing. Buyers comparing new and existing homes should verify those details directly.

4. Boca Raton: Boca Paddle sets a November 18 opening target

Boca Paddle by CityPickle announced a November 18 grand opening in an October 21 release. Plans call for 25 courts: 19 for pickleball and six for padel, with indoor and outdoor play. Farmer's Kitchen, from the team behind Farmer's Table, is planned as a restaurant and bar open to the public.

It is another recreation-and-dining option to follow locally. Confirm the opening, court access, booking rules and restaurant hours with the operator before making plans; the announced date is still ahead.

5. Lake Worth Beach: Taste of Recovery returns Saturday

Taste of Recovery is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, at the American German Club in Lake Worth Beach. Boca magazine's November 5 preview says the culinary fundraiser benefits The Crossroads Club, a Delray Beach nonprofit, and brings local chefs together for a competition judged by attendees and a judging panel.

For a weekend outing with a community purpose, check the organizer's current ticket availability and event details before heading out. This is a near-term calendar item, not an event taking place today.

6. Parkland: Wedge Preserve Park announces a December 5 opening

The City of Parkland's official event page announces the opening of Wedge Preserve Park on December 5, 2026, with a ceremony beginning at 9:30 a.m. The listed address is 8400 Nob Hill Road.

Put the date on your calendar if you want to see this addition to Parkland's park system. Check the city page again before visiting for any schedule changes or opening-day instructions.

The local perspective

A neighborhood is more than its listings. Parks, places to play, dining and nearby development all help shape daily life. These updates add context to a home search, but they do not establish a property's value or guarantee future appreciation.
